Tosh's Story...
I was born outside and lived outside for a while with my mom. People said she was feral...I guess thats a different word for really great mom. Then one day this lady found us and took me and my brothers away. At first we were really scared but than we learned there are some really good things about living inside. No more heat, rain, the food is better, and lots of toys. I am a little hesitant to trust people at first. It takes me a little while (like 10 seconds...thats a long time for a kitty!) but once you prove to me I can trust you, I'll be your friend for life. (Hint: Give me a treat or a toy and I can probably cut the inspection time down to 5 seconds.)

I am good with most other cats, but I'm not sure if I like dogs yet or not. I'm a playful boy with other kitties and once I get to know you, I'll play with you too.

Tosh is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and FIV/FELV negative. His adoption fee is $85

Tosh is waiting for you at the Westheimer/Dunvale Petsmart located at 8380 Westheimer. You can meet the cats and adopt any time the store is open.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tosh, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
