My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It's hard to think about how the lives of these two adorable puppies almost came to a screeching halt. It was sheer chance that the headlights of a car happened to catch them in time to avoid an accident that would have meant the end for them.

Luckily, these incredibly cute brothers made it out of the road and to safety then to New Lease on Life. Now they're searching for new homes.

Winston and Duncan are only three months old. They are possibly purebred Beagles, although there's no way to know for sure. They love people, especially people who might have treats or a fun ball to play fetch with.

Beagles generally get to be 25 - 35 pounds. They're active dogs but generally not on the hyper side, perfectly content to curl up at their owner's feet for a nap. Beagles are very intelligent and curious as well as excellent with children.

Winston and Duncan are just beginning the concept of crate training but doing very well. They're only three months old, so you should expect to do some housetraining in the beginning.

Winston and Duncan are very curious about other dogs and love their attention. They have also met cats and really aren't too sure about the whole cat/dog difference just yet. As far as they're concerned, cats are just tiny dogs with long claws.

These boys are not yet neutered, but this will be done before they go home with their new families. We're expecting them to be neutered within the next two weeks.

You CAN reserve one or both of the brothers for adoption before they are ready to go. Just call 330-397-8270 to schedule an appointment to meet them. They can go home with you right after surgery.

If you would like to take both of these cuties home with you, there will be a $20 discount on the second adoption fee.
