Cookie's Story...
Cookie's the name and playing in the water is my game! As yo can see by my picture I am a real beauty! I am approx. 1 year old, spay, up to date on shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm and flea and tick prevention, micro chipped, house broken and crate trained. I get along well with other dogs, people of all sizes and I don't really care about those cats. I am not sure how it happened but I ended up in a shelter and a volunteer of All About Labs came through and found me just hanging out and a little confused about being in a shelter since I had been running around hanging out. All About Labs rescued me and now I am as happy as a clam! If you are interested in making me part of your life, please contact info@allaboutlabs.org or go to www.allaboutlabs.org. SEE YA SOON, you won't be disappointed!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a New York Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New York, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
