Meet Roy, although I think he's more of a Casanova. He likes to give kisses and wants to nuzzle up in your chest. He was left behind at a house for 4 weeks. He’s emaciated, but eating well, and no food aggression. He gets along perfectly with other dogs. He's great with kids...Submissive not alpha. He would be an EXCELLENT family dog. He's adorable. Small (40 lbs?) and around age one. Very calm tempered. Is neutered and started on shots. Call 310.242.7746 Zia for more info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roy, a Los Angeles American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
