I am purebred.
Hi there NY. I'm Rex. I just came to BDBH from Cheatham County, TN, on 9/11. I'm a GSD, 5 years young and 90 lbs. I know I'm big but I hear my foster Mom call me her gentle giant (I think it's because I let her love up on me all she wants!). Well, I was surrendered because my master became too ill to take care of me, but I'm very grateful to be rescued and placed in a loving foster home until my new forever family adopts me. I'm well trained and know "sit," "lay down," and "stay." I also let you know when I have to go potty. I don't touch anything that isn't mine or wasn't given to me either. When it's bedtime, I go right into my crate and usually sleep through the whole night, (although I'd sleep in bed if my foster Mom would let me). I'm very trustworthy, so she doesn't feel she has to close the door to my crate overnight, though sometimes I like to go sleep next to her bed just to be close to her. I like to go for leisurely walks whenever I can, and play a little fetch in the backyard, or just hang out in the grass while she works in her garden. I really enjoy car rides too - they're very relaxing! I don't beg for food, but I will gladly and very carefully take a treat from you if you offer it to me. And BOY do I love my human friends, so I can't wait to meet you!
If you're interested in making me a loving addition to your family, please email my foster Mom, Michelle, at JumpingBean0404@hotmail.com
