Ryder's Story...
Hi! I’m Ryder. I was dumped at a shelter in the south. I am about a year and a half old and appear to be purebred. My foster mom says I am incredibly sweet and I love to be at her side most of the time. I love to play outside, but do great in the house. I am not a jumper and despite my age, I am actually pretty laid back. My foster mom says I’m not hyper like most labs, but I am still active and playful. I am housetrained and crate-trained. I get along great with all dogs as you can see in my video – I’m not dominant or submissive, but just right. I don’t mind cats either. I am social and affectionate. I even like to take naps with my foster mom on the couch. I do get excited about treats; my foster mom thinks I probably didn’t receive many before I was rescued. She says I need to work on taking them softly – but that will come in time. If you think I would be a good fit for your family, please email the group at forrescuetn@gmail.com for more information or an application. Be sure and check out my video in the little TV above, but here’s the link to another video as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u35cp9oEZF8

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ryder, a FOSTER Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in FOSTER, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in FOSTER.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in FOSTER already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a FOSTER breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in FOSTER paves the way for another one to be saved.
