Shy's Story...
Shy is my name, but I am not very shy at all!!!! My D.O.B. is 8/03/09. I love everyone, sometimes so much so that I jump all over you. I definately could use some help with my manners. I am so smart, I already know sit, down, shake and rollover half of the way! I am full of energy because I am still just a puppy, full of puppy love! I guarantee that if you adopt me life would not be boring. I would keep you busy! I am spending the afternoon in the adoption coordinators office and I have a favorite toy....it's a long hotdog looking blue squeaker toy. I just love it. I like to throw it around like a tennis ball and go get it myself. Fill out an adoption application and set an appointment soon to come and see me.....I'll be waiting.

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shy, a Lake Odessa Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
