Lily's Story...
Hi friends! Lily here. I am a super sweet, 2 year old whippet mix who is fun, sweet, active and fun! I am very loving and I love to play with other doggies and would love a home with a friend! I am also great with kitties and I am house and crate trained as well. Little kids make me just a bit nervous so a home with kids over 8 would be great!

I would love an active home with a runner or someone who wants to get out in the sunshine and take me for walks, hikes and any other fun outdoor activity where we can spend quality time together while keeping our minds and bodies healthy!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $180
I am living in foster care so if you would like to meet me please contact the pixie project!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Portland Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet for sale in Portland, or seeking a Whippet dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet breeders who help with Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
