KK's Story...
KK is one silly guy. He is absolutely the sweetest kitty. He and his brother were dumped at a boat ramp scared and alone. They were there for days, starving, until they tried to steal some bait from fishermen. That got them kicked and chased. They tried to walk up to people, asking for help, but it was days before someone listened. They were finally rescued by a nice lady from Colorado who called and asked us for help. They are now in a foster home and life is better. You would never know they were treated badly. KK is fond of rolling, playing, petting and purring. He will come current on shots and has a neuter appointment scheduled 10/6.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

KK, a Tillamook Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tillamook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tillamook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillamook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillamook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillamook paves the way for another one to be saved.
