My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Silk looks like a small-boned vizsla/ whippet blend. She may also have some sort of hound dog in her because she has the cutest howl when she sings along with a siren!

She is a beautiful girl – a lovely little blond, cream and café latte baby who is very friendly, great with other dogs and with cats, and wonderfully gentle with children.

Silk has a super model figure like a vizsla and beautiful, soulful eyes. She has the sleekest short coat (like silk!) and isn’t a big shedder.

She is about 4 months old, so at that perfect age to start serious training. She is amazingly mellow for a puppy and would be a great match for a family with children. Silk is active, agile and playful, and will make a wonderful family companion for running, hiking, camping or just chasing balls!

Silk is crate trained and already knows some basic commands like sit.

My guess is that Silk could be 50 pounds full grown, but I don’t think much bigger – but who knows?!

Silk is spayed, has had all of her shots including rabies, and has had her bordatella inoculation. She is a very happy, healthy and fine girl!

You can also meet all my other little foster pups and Satin (Silk’s sister) and well as Silk’s brother, Sagan. They are every bit as beautiful and sweet as Silk is!
