My story

Oh! Oh! Pick me, pick me! My paw is raised!!

Meet Mushu, whose devotion and eagerness to please his beloved humans is heartbreakingly sincere and down right amusing all at the same time! Named for the dragon in the movie Mulan (by his foster human siblings), Mushu is a sweet little fellow who is brave, loving and sensitive.

A bundle of energy when he is “on the move”, Mushu needs nothing more than people to love, a fenced yard to romp in, several good squeaky toys, lots of good exercise, and perhaps a canine sibling or two. Oh yes, and a lap to sleep on (as close as he can possibly get) when it’s quiet time.

Abandoned in a box when he was just a puppy, Mushu was rescued and his mission in life is to repay kind humans with his undying devotion. Much like any adolescent, Mushu is still a bit unsure as to his place in the world and needs loving, yet firm and consistent, direction in developing his self-confidence and grown-up composure. He would be best placed in a home where the routine is consistent and predictable, limits are clear, exercise and affection is abundant, and his beloved humans are close at hand.

If you can offer this to Mushu, he in turn will provide you with all the devoted companionship and unconditional love his innocent heart can offer – an excellent proposition, if you ask us.
