Buddy is an amazingly kind and gentle cat who was living on the streets. He was rescued by a good Samaritan who is fostering him, but, as she has several cats of her own, cannot keep him.
Buddy is a 1-2 year old neutered male, up to date on all his vaccinations. He loves to play with balls, and is vocal - he will "talk" to you when he wants to be petted, and when a can of food is opened! Buddy is extremely loveable and would be great with other indoor cats.
Buddy does test positive for FIV. FIV+ cats can live long, normal lives, as long as they get good care and lots of love! Since Buddy is so fond of other cats, he would do very well as a friend either to another FIV+ cat or for gentle FIV-negative cats (FIV can ONLY be transmitted through very serious, deep bite wounds...not love nips, sharing food or water dishes, grooming, or anything else. FIV is not contagious to humans, dogs, or any other species.)
Buddy will be delivered to his new family complete with a medical record and rabies certificate, along with carrier, litterbox, food, toys, scratching post, and anything else the new parents may think they need for him.
