My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ella is about 10 months old and very shy. When she first came to KIKO, she was extremely insecure, and has made considerable progress in the last 2 months in learning to trust people and noises in her environment. Ella is very gentle, has a lively temperament, playful and absolutely loves to cuddle. She will only bond to one person, and will be loyal and devoted to this person. She loves to play with other dogs, and tends to be submissive. She does not usually bark, unless a stranger comes close to her. She will need a home that is on the quiet side to help her gain more confidence. Socializing her slowly with other adults would also be helpful in overcoming her fear of other people. We recommend that she goes to a home with other dogs, no children or with frequent visitors, as she is afraid and will either bark or go hide. Ella can be left alone for an extended period of time, as she does show any sign of separation anxiety. Ella is almost 100% trained to go outside and is also trained on paper. She does not shed, and has a beautiful hypo-allergenic cream colored coat.
