Labrador Retriever Puppy for adoption in Pittsboro/Durham, North Carolina - Duncan

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Duncan's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Duncan's Story...
Chasing balls through the yard, and playing with his foster siblings are Duncan's favorite activities. He loves to be with people and with other dogs, and he has that great Lab personality. He is affectionate, playful, loyal, and smart. Duncan has a very sweet and sensitive nature, and will respond well to a very positive training approach. He should do well with other dogs and with older, well-behaved children. He has very nice indoor manners, and is well on his way to being housetrained. He sleeps through the night in his foster parents' bedroom. Duncan has the potential to be a wonderful lifelong friend and loyal companion for some lucky person.

The first step in applying for one of our pets is to fill out an application. This in no way obligates you to adopt. It helps our foster parents learn more about you, which helps them determine if the pet would be a good fit for your situation. Please log on to our website at www.bbcra.org then click on the button on the left-hand side that says Apply to Adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duncan, a Pittsboro/Durham Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Pittsboro/Durham, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Pittsboro/Durham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsboro/Durham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsboro/Durham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsboro/Durham paves the way for another one to be saved.
