Bruin's Story...
THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING TO HELP BRUIN'S FAMILY REHOME HIM AND IS IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH THE RESCUE or our ADOPTION PROCESS. YOU MUST CONTACT OWNERS DIRECTLY AT rlefebvreii@yahoo.com.
Bruin is a 3 year old, 35 lb small Golden Retriever mix. He came to us from the South and has been in New England since February. Bruin currently lives in Waltham MA.
He's full of life and character, he's very loyal and passionate about his owners and deserves a good home. He's 100% house trained, and does not chew furniture, shoes, or anything else. Our only qualm with Bruin is that he's protective of his owners and his family...Which is hard to fault him for. He's in tip top shape, just had him checked up this past week. Very strong, no arthritis, and an absolute beauty to look at. He's been a perfect size with a great demeanor.
Bruin would do best in a home where there are no other animals or small children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruin, a Windham Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Windham, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
