Bob's Story...
Bob is sooo cute! He's a great guy, too--people and dog friendly, happy and frisky, beautiful vivid colors. His estimated birth month was March 2010. Besides regular shots, he's vaccinated for bordetella and wormed. He will be neutered before release, and will need a fenced area when outside.
Vets give us their best judgment on breeds, and pictures help, too! There may be a little something else in the mix, but whatever, it's a pleasing combination.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bob, a Tahlequah Dachshund/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Basset Hound for sale in Tahlequah, or seeking a Dachshund/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Tahlequah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tahlequah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tahlequah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Basset Hound breeders who help with Dachshund/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tahlequah paves the way for another one to be saved.
