My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Finn (male)
I’m a super-sweet 3 month old Shepherd mix. I was rescued from an oil rig site in Dubach, La. I was emaciated, thirsty, and had almost given up when a really nice man named Kyle found me. He brought me home and he and his female friend nursed me back to health. They took me to the vet where I was given shots and given a health check-up. Now, I’m healthy and happy. My rescuers have housetrained me and taught me how to walk on a leash. I travel great in a car and I’ve not destroyed anything in their house. I do love my chew toys, though. I’m super with kids, other dogs, and cats. I’m loveable and give lots of puppy kisses. I’m not hyper. I’m a calm puppy and just love to be around my people. I’d love a home where I never, ever have to worry about being abandoned or going hungry ever again. A home where I could be part of the family is where I’d like to be. My rescuer would love to keep me, but he works long hours and knows that it wouldn’t be fair to me. If you’d like to meet me, please call Kyle at 832-341-0517. That’s his cell phone and I’m in Shreveport if you’d like to meet me. There is a screening process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to Pet Savers of $30 for their help in rehoming me and to help assure I go to a good home. Once you adopt me, PLEASE get me spayed/neutered to help control the HUGE overpopulation and euthanasia rate in this area. Robinson’s Rescue low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (Shreveport) offers special low-cost pricing for spaying and neutering. Call 318-861-0101 for your spay/neuter appointment ONLY, not about this pet!
