Angel's Story...
Angel is a super dog! We pulled her from the kill shelter when her time was up and we are sure glad that we did. She's a typical cattle dog mix, and has a lot of energy but after her initial "burst" of being happy to see you she settles down and has pretty good manners. Angel is housebroken and is fine with other dogs. She tends to "herd" children so if you have very small ones this might be a drawback to having her in your family. We think that Angel will make an active family a wonderful pet! This dog is currently being fostered in Tennessee until it finds its new home in New England.

****** UNFORTUNATELY FOR ALL, We CANNOT adopt our sweet dogs to families in Massachusetts. Call your legistalator and complain to him or her about the laws..........we just abide by them.**********

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Salem Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler for sale in Salem, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
