Swizzle(adopted)'s Story...
Swizzle is a sweetie and deserves a wonderful home to call her own. She is being fostered in SC. Her adoption fee is $225, she will be spayed and microchipped. She has already received her first set of vaccinations and deworming. She is approx 10-12 weeks old per our veterinarian. My husband came to me with this bundle of joy a few days ago. He stopped at a gas station to get gas and a man was in a truck next to him. He heard a pup's tiny bark from the back of the truck in the 90 degree heat. He walked over to the man to see what he had and the man stated that he had already given the rest of the pups away and was having a hard time "getting rid" of this one. He said that he was going to just let her go on this busy street because "someone would stop by and pick her up eventually" My husband grabbed her immediatly and brought her home to me. The man said that the mother was a chihuahua/rat terrier mix and the dad was a neighborhood mutt. He couldn't tell him the exact breed, but said that he was about 15-20lbs. If you are interested in this beautiful girl, please e-mail me today. Adoption fee covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and transport to your area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Swizzle(adopted), a Baltimore Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier puppy from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
