Nellie's Info...

Nellie's Story...
This is Nellie. She was found as a stray. Nellie is a little bit of an older girl. We think between 5-7 years old but it's a guess. She's doing great on her house manners and once she is comfortable she's good with other dogs. Probably no cats. She doesn't try hurt them but she doesn't like them to come up on her. We think Nellie would be better in a home with older kids. If you would like to know more, give Freedom Farm a call.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nellie, a Hendersonville Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hendersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
