Siloam's Story...
Siloam is an 8 month old female Australian Shepherd. She is the result of a double merle breeding, also known as a 'lethal white'. Siloam is deaf. Her vision is great though! Si doesnt know that she's deaf and just loves everybody! She is a very sweet puppy who is loving life and gets along with other dogs and loves people. She can be very exhuberant with her puppy personality, but she settles down nicely in the house and is very sweet. She loves to cuddle and she loves to play! She will need a home that is willing to teach her hand signals and work around her lack of hearing. Si is just like any other happy go lucky 1yo Aussie. If anything, her deafness just makes her sharper and sweeter. Siloam is fostered in Carlton, MN. Adoption application and fee required. Check out www.NS4AR.org to find more information on our adoption fees and to find the application. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Siloam, a Blooming Prairie Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Blooming Prairie, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Blooming Prairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Blooming Prairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Blooming Prairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Blooming Prairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
