Lexi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lexi's Story...
Lexi is a 1-year-old female Golden Retriever mix who is extremely gentle and sweet. Though she has not had any formal training, she is very eager to please, and is already learning some basic commands. Lexi is wonderful around children and other dogs, behaves nicely in her crate and on a leash, though she would much rather snuggle than do mundane things like go to the bathroom!

With her gorgeous golden coat and loving personality, she is sure to capture a lot of attention! Lexi also has a very unique feature in her right eye. Though both eyes are a warm brown, her right eye has a crystal blue "sparkle" at the bottom of the iris that gives a permanent twinkle to her gaze!

This precious girl desperately wants a family to call her own, with people who will help her know she will be safe and loved forever. Is that you? If you'd like to learn more about Lexi, please email us at forrescuetn@gmail.com for more information or to request an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lexi, a Hamburg Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
