JACKSON - Adopted!'s Story...
Jackson is about a 5 months old. He is a precious little brown tabby with the sweetest personality. I found this fabulous boy at a high-kill shelter on their "urgent" list, when I went to save a few! It is so hard to imagine how anyone could dream of ending this precious life. He is full of energy and loves to play. He loves to play with other cats too and would be just fine in a multi-cat house hold. I have small dogs as well and he gets along just fine with them. Jackson is litter box trained. He tested NEGATIVE for FVRCP, FIV & Feline Leukemia. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JACKSON - Adopted!, a Hendersonville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hendersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
