Alan's Story...
Bon Jour!

My name is Alan, and my owners brought me here to the United States all the way from Switzerland! They have had me since I was a puppy, but they found out that there is a one dog limit on the home they had bought, so I am in need of a new home tout suit! (I think that means quickly).

I am on the older side (13 years young), but my owners took such good care of me that you would never know it to meet me - I am VERY playful, and I love to go on long, brisk walks - you know of course that Europeans walk a LOT - right? - and I just love to snuggle by your side on the couch while we watch TV at night.

I get along with all the other dogs I have met here in the United States - I guess "woof" is an international language.

I arrived in the US with my own doggie passport, and I am a very happy healthy boy - come and meet me and see for yourself!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alan, a Simi Valley Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Simi Valley, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Simi Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Simi Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Simi Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Simi Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
