My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie: 2 yr old, spayed female, chocolate, docked tail, natural ears, 13lbs, 11inch. Microchipped.
***Special Needs***
Remember Annie? The little dog that was so scared she wouldn't eat or drink if anyone was watching; who would tremble and pee in fear if there was a man in the room. Well look at her now. Isn't she brave? She loves the rabbits and the other dogs in her foster home. She is a sweet dog and every day we see progress in her. She is learning from the other dogs. After watching them get all the love and attention she has decided to seek out her share. Just this week she jumped up on the couch and sat next to us before anyone else could.

She does like the other dogs and particularly likes to hang out with another foster, Reese’s Cup. They look identical and are so cute together. Annie has quickly learned how to use the dog door and knows to go outside to do her business. She doesn’t sleep in the bed but does like to sleep next to the bed where I can reach down and pet her. Annie is responding well to being loved. She is becoming more confident and isn’t fearful about showing love and affection back.

Annie needs a home that is calm and patient; one where she can get out and experience new things but at a slow pace. Are you the home where Annie would thrive on lots of love?
