Sissy's Story...
Hello folks, my name is Sissy. I'm a 3 year old boxer mastiff mix. I am told that I am absolutely beautiful....you have to see my shiny, jet black coat in person. Anyhow, I need to find a new home. Ya see, I was originally found in a South Jersey Shelter. I am told that I came to the shelter as a stray and that I had some injury to my legs, although you would never know it by seeing me play. In fact, I don't seem to recall having any type of injury. I don't limp, I'm not in pain and I don't take meds.

I came to live with two dogs that are MUCH bigger than me, and 2 dogs MUCH smaller than me. I also have cats and bunnies to play with. I get along GREAT with the big dogs, and I also play well with small dogs that have short hair...yup you read that correctly. The problem is that I am somewhat of a big girl and sometimes I just don't realize my size and I start to play a bit too rough with the small fuzzy animals. I get kinda confused at times and think those little fuzzy kritters in the house are more toys for me to play with....they just don't seem to like it though...not sure why.....

I am looking for a home with other dogs for me to run and play with. Medium or large dogs would be great, small short haired ones are also good, but I should not go to a home with small fuzzy creatures that I may mistake for toys.

I am completely potty trained, I go into a crate without any fuss, I enjoy car rides and I love to go to the dog park. I am very quiet and don't bark very much. I have lived with kids and enjoy slobbering on them. I am a super sweet girl and have lots of BIG wet kisses to give. Won't you please email to set up an appointment to meet me.....just be forewarned, don't wear black!

I hope I will be seeing you soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sissy, a Turnersville Boxer/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Mastiff for sale in Turnersville, or seeking a Boxer/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Turnersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Turnersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Turnersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Mastiff breeders who help with Boxer/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Turnersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
