Micah's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Micah's Story...
Micah is about 5 months old and is a male kitten. He and his five litter mates were nearly euthanized after they contracted a virus that threatened their vision. Micah has significant scarring to his eyes from the virus, however, the veterinarian elected not to do surgery to remove the eyes and believes Micah still has quite a bit of vision. While we listed him as special needs, Micah has no idea that he's got handicaps in comparison to his brothers and sisters. He's an excellent leaf chaser, kitten stalker and has even caught a mouse (YUCK! -- but he was very proud of himself). He is outgoing, playful, loving and well-socialized. He's curious and loves everyone he meets. He'd love to be adopted with one of his siblings: Malachi, Miriam, Mara, Madeline or Matthew. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Micah, a Cleveland Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
