Georgia's Story...
Hi friends! My name is Georgia and I am super duper sweet pitty mix who is about three years old. I am so loving and sweet and I am a fun fun fun! I am an active girl who loves to play and I am great with the pug that I share my foster home with. I have good house manners and I am crate trained too!
I was found in rough shape, with mange and the whole deal but now I am healthy as a horse and happy as a clam and ready to find my new forever home!
I am living in foster care so please contact the pixie project if you would like to meet me!
I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped.
My adoption fee is $100

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgia, a Portland Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet for sale in Portland, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Whippet rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
