Hello, my name is Gus. I am the most precious boy you will ever meet. I am about 3 months old and a mix of a "whatchamacallit" and a "your guess is as good as mine". I was found on the side of the road after my brother (Jack) was almost run over by my foster mom on her way back from vacation. She saw how emaciated and neglected we were, and she just had to save us. Even though humans haven't been very nice to me up until now, I still love them SO MUCH! I love to chase you around and paw at your shoes while you're walking. I'm learning very quickly that I won't get any attention until I sit down politely in front of you instead of jumping up. So, I might jump up a couple times when you come home, but then i just sit down and squeal out of excitement until you notice how good I'm being! I make the funniest little grunting noises that make my foster mom melt. I LOVE to cuddle in your arms or in bed with you. I'm very good in my crate, although I would much rather be with you. I've never had an accident in the house or in my crate. But, I'm still a baby though, so I'm might not be 100% housebroken. I have growled a couple times at my foster brothers or sisters when they come too close to my bone or when they're trying to steal my foster mom's affection, so I will need an new mom or dad that will set rules and boundaries for me. I need to be treated like a dog, and not a baby, so that I don't get confused about who is in charge. So, if you think you can keep teaching me to be polite, I will be the most precious addition to your family! I have so much love in this little body that I just can't stand it!!!
