Popper's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Popper's Story...
Popper is a 2 year old male, blonde and white (fawn faced) Chihuahua, weighing in at a healthy 12 pounds. Different body type than Bitsy, but is appropriate in weight. Popper's white streak down the middle of his face and white tipped tail makes him a handsome boy. Popper is potty trained, uses a dog door, up to date on shots, good with other dogs and good with older children. Popper is not good with toddler age children and will nip at toddler's in order to keep them away from his space. Popper barks at a new person until you pet him, and then you are his friend. Popper needs to allowed to come to you-in his timing. Popper is a lap dog, a true cuddle bug and will lie upside down in your arms with total trust! When Popper is happy to see you, he stands up on his hind feet and dances, shaking his front paws in mid air! Popper can hardly contain himself as he gets so excited that a human has entered the room! Popper is used to being crated or lying in his crate with an open door. Popper seeks out Bitsy to play and to cuddle with. Popper is a great dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Popper, a Sedona Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Sedona, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sedona.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sedona already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sedona breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sedona paves the way for another one to be saved.
