My name is Missy. Almost 13 years ago I was a tiny puppy, abandoned by my owner at a boarding facility. Year after year went by as I lay in my kennel, seeing many dogs come and going. I kept wondering - "When is my time to go home? I want a family too!"
A few days ago, a good Samaritan stopped by my doggie cell and asked about me and the huge mammary tumor hanging from my belly. The Samaritan was told, "That dog has cancer and is going to die here". The Samaritan took me to her vet for some tests and I had an operation to take that tumor off! Great news, no cancer!! Im gonna live - now to figure out where!?!
I await a loving home as I re-coup at the veterinarians office. Oh how I want to get out of the doggie jail and into a real home for the first time ever! Will you please help me?
I am about 13 years old, a retriever mix and good with other dogs. I am a loving, sweet girl who needs a family. I am up to date on my shots and ready to go home with someone who can love me forever.
