Bootsie's Story...
Happy Fall! My name is Bootsie, and I’m looking for a forever home. The nice people at ARF were kind enough to take me in after a series of unfortunate events where my family could no long take care of me and I ended up in a bad spot. But I am thrilled to be safe now and I'm ready to begin a new journey. I am so happy to have a new start!

Are you looking for a laid-back, chill kind of pooch? That’s ME! I may not be a spring chicken but that means I am beyond those pesky puppy behaviors. At a spunky 9 years old. I’m healthy, sweet and have a LOT of love left to give a deserving family! I am a Collie mix and have grown up with dogs and cats all my life. I love car rides and would make a great companion for afternoon picnics in the park or trips to the market. Won’t you consider me for your family?

Are you interested in learning more about me or want to come meet me in person? Then stop on down to the shelter for a visit, or contact my adoption consultant, Debby, at 440-364-1286 or djg4517@cox.net and she can give you the scoop. My adoption fee is $85 and I am up-to-date on all my shots, and even microchipped! Can’t wait to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bootsie, a Berea Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Berea, or seeking a Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Collie/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
