Dutch's Story...
Dutch is a little guy with a big heart. Born in November last year, he's still a pup - with all a pup's energy and desire for play. But he grew up in a family with three-year-old twin girls, and he knows how to be gentle with small children.

This delightful little dog's family gave him up because they didn't have time for him, and when he came to us he didn't know much. But he wants to please, he's really smart, and he's catching on fast to what his foster mom expects of him. His forever family will find it rewarding to continue his training.

Dutch is friendly with other dogs once he knows them, although he can be pushy on first acquaintance. He hasn't been around cats, but we'd expect him to learn quickly to treat them with respect. With humans, he's a trusting little snuggler

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, Dutch will come to you sterilized, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and treated for internal and external parasites. An adoption fee of $225 will help offset the cost of care.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dutch, a West Richland Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua for sale in West Richland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in West Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
