Indio was was hit by a car and the owners decided that they did not want the responsibility of paying to have his leg amputated. Indio's injuries were taken care of by the NY Mayor's Alliance and he is now with a Rawhide Rescue Foster Home for proper care and attention. Indio has been with his foster family for about three weeks and he is a total dream boy. He gets along and can keep up with the other dogs and a cat. Dispite the loss of one leg, he is proficient (and strong) at walking, climbing, using stairs and of course, playing with the other dogs. He is truly beautiful - inside and outside and will be a special addition to the right home. He is fully housebroken and very responsive to training.
