Soda's Story...
Soda is the sweetest little chihuahua girl with "Yoda" ears, about a year and a half old, and a teenie 3.5 pounds (though she is very skinny and needs to be fattened up a little). Like a typical chihuahua, she's a bit timid at first, but warm and affectionate after just a few minutes of getting to know you. She will nuzzle in your neck and ask you to never let her go! She's very bonded with her brother Scotch, so we are looking for a forever home where they can stay together forever. Come meet these two and we know you won't be be able to resist taking them home - one for each pocket!

Scotch and Soda's combined adoption fee of $500 includes: vet exam, flea preventative, heartworm test, DHPP (distemper-parvo combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, bordetella vaccination, deworming, microchip and spay-neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Soda, a Mt. Prospect Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
