Bowie's Story...
Bowie is an awesome little boy, mostly white with some brown and gray decorations. He and his brother Pierre are just turning 1 year old and have grown up together. They are a bonded pair and must go to their forever home together. They follow each other everywhere and are always together. They are very sociable and love attention from their people too. Pierre & Bowie are gentle souls and even when they play they are pretty low key. These kittens will make a lovely addition to any family lucky enough to adopt them!

You can meet Pierre & Bowie at their current foster home, Wilmette Pet Center, 625 Green Bay Rd, 7 days a week during normal store hours. (phone 847-251-6750)

Bowie's adoption fee of $115 includes: vet exam, Feline Leukemia test, FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, microchip and neutering.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bowie, a Mt. Prospect Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
