Whiskey's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Whiskey's Story...
Whiskey was born 6/14/2008 and is a purebred neutered male German Shepherd. Whiskey has had a tough few months, his main caregiver died, he was hit by a car and was relinquished to Big Dogs Big Hearts. After a few weeks of being in his foster home Whiskey has begun to relax and remember life is ok.

Whiskey is housebroken and crate trained and is not destructive if left out alone. Whiskey loves to play ball and go for walks. He walks very well on leash. He knows his basic obedience commands of sit, down and stay.

Whiskey is looking for a forever home with a breed experienced handler. He needs structure in his life as he has had a lot of changes recently. Although Whiskey was raised with children and is friendly with them he will do best without young kids in his home. Whiskey does well with cats and dogs, but could also live as an only pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Whiskey, a Rochester/Buffalo German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
