Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Quazi is an F1 or F2 purebred Savannah, that is, he is half or one quarter Serval and he is about 5-6 years of age. (This cat was aged by one of the zoo's feline experts.) He does have some birth defects, common in cats this close to wild ancestry. He has a slight curvature of the spine and he does require sensitive stomach food. That's where 'wild' stops and domestic lover-boy starts. He LOVES to be in your lap, even though he's quite large, he wants a bite of everything you seem to find tasty and loves treats. Head butts are given in 'hello' style with humans and he has a gurgle instead of a meow. He's very smart and will walk with a harness and leash. Quazi's ears have been surgically altered. We believe one ear had been injured resulting in folding so someone had their vet surgically cut them both down to domestic cat size. Then some very ignorant person at a spay clinic cropped the one ear, something you do to feral female domestic cats to show they are spayed. This cat is a wonderful companion and gets along with other cats in the family. He is not a good pet if you have birds, and even though he never hurt the parrot belonging to his previous owner, he made the bird nervous enough to start picking. Quazi is felv and fiv negative, heartworm negative and up to date on shots, wormer and flea treatment. His adoption fee is $200. cash. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to our website at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/TX1208.html and fill out the application located at the bottom of the page and email it to txecr1@yahoo.com Out-of-state adoption fees may vary. We do not ship animals. Adopters must come to get their animal and accompany it back home.
