My story

Ginger – female, spayed, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu Rabies, dewormed, heartworm tested (-), tx flea preventative, ~1yr, ~20lbs, SheltieX.

Rescue from high volume, high kill shelter where she was slated to be euthanized due to over crowding. Ginger was left at the shelter when her owner moved.

Ginger is a sweet girl though nervous about her shelter experience she makes friends easily (a cookie helps!). She is about knee height with a wavy coat similar to a Sheltie, she is moderate shedding. Ginger is great with other dogs and would be great as a second dog or on her own, she is also fine with cats and respectful children of all ages. Ginger is crate trained and house trained. She enjoys a daily walk and play time at the doggy parks. Ideally she should get about a 30min brisk walk each day. Ginger is best suited to a house with a fenced yard.
