Woodie's Story...
Howdy ! My name is Woodie – check out the “ie” ending.. my foster mom thought I was a boy at first.. how silly of her! I was born an outside cat and as a kitten, I was trapped with another cat in my colony, I was altered and taken to a very nice barn. Well, I showed them that I wasn’t a feral cat at all, but a very sweet, lovable, cuddly cat that needed a couch to lie on ! I came with my sister, Jessie and my brother Buzz – who have also warmed up to people and are looking for a forever home too! I am a very cuddly, talkative, social brown tabby that will make your home very happy with the sound of toys rolling across the floor and loud purring coming from the sofa. I am used to other cats, kids of all ages and dogs that are nice to me. Does your house need the sounds of a happy cat?
My picture will be coming soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Woodie, a Sheboygan Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sheboygan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sheboygan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheboygan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheboygan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheboygan paves the way for another one to be saved.
