Joe's Story...
Hi, my name is Joe and I'm a happy-go-lucky 2 year old black and tan coonhound. Everyone says how handsome I am, well-built and with a splash of white on my chest. I'm a good boy, well-behaved and affectionate, who gets along well with the other dogs. I am the perfect house dog! I am housetrained, I like to sleep on a dog bed by the couch and I'll only get up on the couch when called. I enjoy looking but I don't touch anything on the counter. But mostly I'm very interested in watching TV! If you come to visit me, I may be pretty excited to see you at first and then I'll calm down quickly. I like to be close to you so I might lean on your leg a bit to make sure you know I'm there and ready to play. I like other dogs and I love to run and play chase with them. I'm especially fond of visiting the puppies around here. They make me smile and wiggle all over! I know folks around here don't know alot about coonhounds but I'm a great guy and everyone will comment on what a handsome dog you have. Won't you give me a try?
Adoption fee:$255.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joe, a Mora Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Mora, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in Mora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mora paves the way for another one to be saved.
