I look into your eyes and I see the pain. The pain that your owners have put you through.
With your numerous scars, infected wounds, and 1/2 of your ear missing, people pay to watch you fight, pay to watch you hurt, and like what they see.
I hate people like that, the people who turn pit bulls into fighting machines! I hate the people who ruin the reputation of such a wonderful breed.
I look into your eyes and I see the love you have inside you. The wag of your tail and your grunts as I give you a belly rub, the gentleness of your touch when I hand you a treat.
I look into your eyes and I see your life on a logging chain with padlocks around your neck, with never anyone to love on you and pet you.
I look into your eyes and KNOW there will be many more like you and it makes me sick to my stomach.
I look into your eyes and I promise you that there are good people who don't do this to animals and we will all fight to stop this animal cruelty, it may take years, but one day, we will accomplish this goal.
Please if you have any information on pit bull fighting in your area, contact the police immediately and/or contact your local shelter with information.
The Humane Society of the Unites States offers a $2,500.00 reward for information leading to the prosecution of these people.
Pit bulls are wonderful dogs if raised correctly and are submissive to humans; they are not instinctually aggressive.
I have met NUMEROUS pit bulls that do wonderfully with other dogs and are great with children!
