Bella's Story...
This is Bella, a docile, loving, 2 year old female who loves attention. She was rescued in October 2010. Bella is a quiet girl, only barking when she is outside and another dog walks by, but she settles down quickly when corrected. She enjoys casual walks, chew toys and one-on-one time with her people. At her foster home, Bella shares her space peacefully with 6 adult dogs, 2 puppies and 1 cat. She wrestles a little roughly with the adults, mostly ignores the pups and tries so hard to meet with the cat who wants nothing to do with her. Bella is low energy, so she would be perfect for a retired couple. She is also a wonderful travel companion. Bella is such a sweet girl who would love to find her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Okotoks Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
