Peanut's Story...
My name is Peanut! I am a 1 year old female Chihuahua mix that would love to be your friend! I am already spayed, microchipped, and have my vaccines. I am a very smart girl with training and I am housebroken. I'm ok with kids (not toddlers) and other pets but prefer to be the only dog in the home. I love staying in my kennel when people are not home because it makes me feel safe. I love to lay on my foster mom's lap and put my paws up on her shoulders so I can be as close to her as possible. My previous owner had health issues and could not keep me. So now I'm looking for my new forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Mesa Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
