Tammy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tammy's Story...
I'm one of the newer kids on the block, my name is Tammy! My D.O.B. is 4/08/09. They think I may be German Shep/Border Collie Mix. If that's true, I know I am going to grow up to be one smart girl. Right now all I know is "Sit", but I am working on all of my other commands. I am sort of shy, so you may need to go slower with me until I get used to you. I love tennis balls and plushies. I really like the bed in the Adoption Coordinator's office. I love to lay on it and take a nap when she has me in the office. I am going to need to get plenty of excercise and mind stimulation. If you are an active family and would like a sweet heart to share your time with, I'm the one! Just remember Tammy!

For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tammy, a Lake Odessa Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Lake Odessa, or seeking a Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Lake Odessa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lake Odessa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lake Odessa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Border Collie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lake Odessa paves the way for another one to be saved.
