beauty with the brains to match. I definitely have that “Aussie” gene,
so I will always be glad to be the life of the party. I love to play play play with other dogs, and I have the same exhuberence with children so I will be best suited for a family with bigger kids. I do good with cats too. I am crate trained already and I have had a lot of training. I know sit, lay down, stay, heel and shake!!! What do ya say- I would love to be the girl in your life for all of life’s wonderful adventures. Where are we going? What’s up next? You tell me, I’m ready! 2 years old-47lbs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gretchen, a Portland Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Portland, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
