My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buffy is an Available Siberian Husky. Buffy is a courtesy listing and is being placed by her owners. Snow Dog Rescue has listed Buffy to help her find her forever home.

Buffy is an Available Siberian Husky

This is Buffy

She is a spayed Female, 7 months old , Housetrained, good with Children, good with Large Dogs, good with Small Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped.

Buffy is a beautiful purebred gray and white Siberian husky pup. Her eyes made us melt when we first saw her. She is very energetic and loves to run. She gets along great with our other dog who is a German Shepard/Lab mix. We want to give her a good home. We thought we could handle 2 dogs, but with out work and school schedules, it has become very difficult to provide both of them with the attention they deserve. Buffy is a typical young husky pup and needs a home with an active family, lots of attention and another canine to play with if at all possible. Buffy would love to share her home with a male canine as she loves other dogs and playing. We really want to place her in a loving home where she can get all the love and attention she deserves. Are you that special home Buffy's been waiting for? If interested in meeting Buffy please complete the application on www.snowdogrescue.com and email to andrea@snowdogrescue.com.

Huskies make great family pals, and love the companionship of other canines medium to xlarge size. They are a pack animal and consider there humans part of their pack. Because of this they truly enjoy being with there humans and canine friends. They are a fun, happy and active breed that promises to make you laugh and keep you smiling. As with any canines they need love and attention to be happy. This breed was born to run, and can be an escape artist easily scaling 6ft fences or finding the one weak spot in your yard. The Siberian Husky can NEVER be trusted off leash or in an ungated area for this reason. Many Huskies are hit by cars, stolen for their beauty, or lost and never returned. Please keep your Siberian Husky leashed and safe, and add needed locks to gates. They’re counting on you! Please read up on the breed to educate yourself, or contact rescue for advice on your new canine friend AFT E R adopting. Rescue volunteers will always be there to help you! Please note when adopting a Husky from the shelter – this breed is not cat friendly. If you have a cat please make sure it IS cat friendly.
