Linus's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Linus's Story...
Linus is probably a retriever/hound mix but he also looks like he might be part bassett hound. Linus is a beautiful puppy with a soft tan coat and a white chest and white paws. Linus likes to be held like a baby over your shoulder and he gives kisses. He is a tad bit shy at first but he is loving and he will willing crawl into your lap. Linus was born on 8/17/10 and these pictures were taken on 10/30/10. He did really well on his first trip to PetSmart and he got along with all the kids, adults, and dogs. Linus weighs about 10 pounds and he should be a medium to possible large size dog. He is up to date on his shots and has been wormed. Linus will be neutered and microchipped when it is age appropriate. He has a brother Elmer and a sister Amber who are also available for adoption. Linus is looking for that someone special to take him home and share their life with him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Linus, a McCormick Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in McCormick, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in McCormick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McCormick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McCormick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McCormick paves the way for another one to be saved.
