Duffy's Story...
Our adorable, young Duffy is a great little boy! He was initially shy when we rescued him but that only lasted a few moments. Now in foster care he is as happy as can be! He is learning to sit, enjoying playtime with his canine foster sister, going for walks, visits to the pet store and lots of snuggle time with us humans!

Duffy is a young boy that needs a home with another young, active playmate. Pet parents that are home more than away and that are committed to continuing our little man's training to become a well socialized adult dog. Duffy is so smart and loves to learn so we are are confident he will be the star pupil at his puppy classes!

Duffy loves his daily walks, toys and of course lots of cuddle time! If your home is the one Duffy has been looking for, please fill out an application for him today - www.azrescue.org.

Duffy weighed 9.3 pounds when we saved him from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duffy, a Phoenix Cairn Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Cairn Terrier puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
