Casey's Story...
Casey is an awesome, happy girl who is looking for a new forever home. This girl is only about 5 years young with the most adorable pigeon toes!!! Casey can be timid at first but once she gets to know you, she is very friendly, loving lady. She loves to give kisses and to be with you as much as possible. She can get very excited when she knows she is getting a treat or wanting to get attention so Casey's favorite spot in the house is the kitchen. She hasn’t chewed on anything and she's good about staying in the yard. Casey gets along well with her foster canine siblings but she does think she should get most of the attention. Casey will make a GREAT companion to spend your days with! Just look at that smile!

As HAHS now has several adoption locations, please contact Sue at 816.246.0304 or pom4me@hotmail.com so you can find out how to meet CASEY!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Casey, a Overland Park Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
